Just found out something really, really important... HUNTER X HUNTER IS COMING BACK!!! YAHOO!!!
As most of the Hunter X Hunter (HxH) fanatics know, Yoshihiro Togashi, the creator of HxH, took a break sometime ago (mid 2006? It's more than a year ago, that I know)... There were talks that Togashi sensei has abandoned the manga.
Now, after a long wait, Shonen Jump has announced that HxH is resuming on the 6th of October, 2007. YAY!!! For more info, Wikipedia can provide. Click on Reference #2, a scan of one of the pages of Shonen Jump (I don't want to link directly to the image, as I don't have time to ask permission). Go review yourself on what has already happened in HxH. As for me, it's time to look for those old manga chapters... XD

Need to stay awake?
It's hard to stay awake on a nice afternoon while doing nothing (at the office... XD)... my eyes wanting to close so badly, overpowering my willpower to endure, makes it hard for colleagues not to notice... of course there's always my good, old buddy, coffee! XD... sigh... if only things were that easy... XP
I've been trying to avoid drinking coffee the last two weeks or so... My stomach's becoming really acidic to the point that I feel my stomach juices boiling whenever I drink more coffee (after the morning coffee... but I need more to keep awake... T_T)... pfftt!!! >_<
I've done everything (short of getting a knife and a calamansi) to stay awake until I discovered something... taking Clorets (yes, clorets, the breath freshener)! o_O... ehehehe... not only does it make your breath fresh, it also freshens up your air passageways including the sinus, thus enabling you to absorb more oxygen-carrying air (naks naman... with explanation pa! it's just an observation... :P)... and the more oxygen in our brain, the livelier we get... XD
Another problem arises, though... reading through the clorets label, a warning... excessive use can have laxative effects... O_O!!! (ugh... it makes you run to the bathroom if taken in excess... bleh!)
Now, which is the lesser evil? Passing air, or running to the bathroom? Take your pick... XD

Cookies, anyone?
I just thought I have to share this... it's not about the yummy cookies loved by Sesame Street's Cookie monster... rather, it's the cookie that gets passed between a web server and a browser whenever you access a certain web site... a cookie (web cookie, http cookie, etc) is usually used for authentication, tracking and storing user information... ain't that nice?
Enough of the cookie thing and proceed with what I have to share... I was looking for a *.lit files viewer when I came upon the M$ Reader... it's an ebook reader that is capable of reading the M$ proprietary document format, the *.lit document... ooh, proprietary (no worries, though... it can be converted to other formats courtesy of the open source community)!!! XD
so, what does the M$ Reader have to do with cookies? To be able to purchase or download secure contents, you have to activate the M$ Reader... online... got a glimpse of my point yet?
okay... to be able to activate M$ Reader using M$ Internet Exploder (actually, it's through the IE Tab addon of Mozilla Firefox, initially), I must acquire a dotnet passport... the thing is, while trying to acquire a dotnet passport, I kept getting the error "Cookies Must Be Allowed, etc, etc"... hmmm... why can I access other sites that use cookies, but I can't with the M$ site? it's kinda weird (or is it?).
Checking the M$ IE's Privacy settings (in M$ IE, go to Tools>Internet Options>Privacy), it's set to high (it's the default... I think)... Reading through the high privacy setting definition, it reads as follows:

Ain't that a darling? Micro$oft is exposed by it's own tool... remember, I used M$ IE for the activation, and it's M$ IE that is telling me that Micro$oft either doesn't have a compact privacy policy, or it'll be using the info to contact me without my explicit consent... nice work M$... so, which one is it? take your pick... >_<
Now rebooting... to LINUX!!! XD

Age Doesn't Matter.... o_O
Does age really matter? More importantly, if you're more than 3000 years old (yep, you've read it right... o_O), does it really matter? XD
Oh well... according to my blogger profile, I'm already more than 3000 years old... I'll be d*mn*d... o_O
Kids, you too can live for more than 3000 years old... For only $9.95, you can have your own age of... er... >_<... that's not what I wanted to say... *ehem*... back to topic... If you edit your blogger profile, you'll notice that you can place a negative year in your birth date... The blogger creators probably did not take it into consideration... it's a bug!!! XD
